So, It's been a while....

Alright I know it's been a while since I last posted here, but lets just pretend it hasn't been, Ok?

I recently went to the lake with some of my friends, and being me brought along my camera, and being me took quite a few pictures of Birds... I may have some sort of Avian Obsession.

Please excuse my the fact that I didn't manage to align my shot with the horizon,
I didn't really have much time to take this shot before these Canadian Geese landed
and wanted to get the shot.
And yes, they are sticking their tongues out at you!

Some more Canadian Geese, framed very well against the backdrop of,
the Downtown Toronto Skyline.

A young male Mallard coming in for a landing.

The water was Crystal Clear that day. it was probably because it was still cold
enough to prevent algae growth, but I am sure that, that will not last very long.

A very stark reminder that despite the warm(ish) weather we are having, we are
still very much within the clutches of Old Man Winters' Cold Hands.

Brrr. Enough said....

So I am starting a new trend, I got tired of all the "Duckfaces" on Facebook,
and the Internet as a whole, so now I want to try "Swan Face"

"Come at me Bro!"

"I want a hug!"

I am pretty sure that he was doing some sort of territorial display, especially
since he and his "Friend" had been proving that Spring was in the air, just a
few moments before I took this set of pictures...

New Hairstyle, the "Gull Wing Hawk" sort of like the faux hawk, but with
more "Like I even Care" attitude mixed in.
